Cytec Engineered Materials is introducing SURFACEMASTER 905 and SURFACEMASTER 202, a new generation of surface films which further reduce manufacturing cost by delivering increased surface quality, handling and out time performance.

Composite surfacing films fill and cover surface defects such as pinholes, surface cracks, core mark-off and other imperfections reducing the cost associated with preparing composite surfaces for painting.

Cytec Engineered Materials pioneered the use of FM 1515-3 and FM 300 for use as surfacing films in the 1980s. Since then Cytec Engineered Materials’ composite surfacing films have become the preferred surfacing materials throughout the aerospace industry.
