Woodland Park, February 21, 2016 --- Cytec Solvay Group (Solvay) will share its latest market insights and advances in its CYASORB CYNERGY SOLUTIONS® stabilizers at the International Polyolefins Conference from February 21st to 24th at the Hilton Houston North in Houston, Texas.
Solvay will present a paper titled “Polymer Stabilization – A Journey Through Weathering Methods, UV And Thermal Stabilization Solutions” at the conference. The presentation will address weathering trends and the new innovations in stabilization technology to meet the harsh weathering conditions in agricultural films, automotive and building & construction.
“The polyolefins industry is looking for optimal and cost-effective solutions that ensure durability in specific applicative conditions,” said Dr. Andrea Landuzzi, Global Marketing Manager for Solvay Polymer Additives business line. “Advanced stabilization products can meet or exceed industry specifications across the agricultural, automotive and building & construction markets. We continue to push the cutting edge of polymer stabilization technology with our CYASORB CYNERGY SOLUTIONS® UV stabilizer product collection.”
CYASORB CYNERGY SOLUTIONS® stabilizers protect the physical and appearance properties of plastics from UV light exposure and extend service life. While many stabilizers in the market today are capable of offering some levels of protection in plastics, Cytec stabilizers offer an optimal balance of processing and cost efficiencies with a high degree of performance durability.
